Family Cancer Fighting

It has been 5 days since her last visit to Clinical Oncology. Psychologically, I have undergone quite a few different states since that visit. Before, anxiety has filled my heart and I am just not capable of making any critical thinking which need complex analysis / processing of large quantity of information. On the day of visit, bad news was announced and I simply feel calm. She was back in the hospital. Doctor prescribe lots of drugs for her. In view of her pain, she was given Morphine, a strong pain reliever that usually not used by ordinary people. On Friday, received second opinion from another doctor who shared the same opinion as the Clinical Oncologist that her condition is no good because cancer cells has spread. In his view, she is relatively young and worth trying chemotherapy to extend lifelihood. But, she may stay a few months or 2-3 years at most. 5 years longer, he said, would not be possible.

It is really cruel for me to know, especially her condition has declined quite substantially in the recent few days. I just wonder whether she could stablilize for a few days and undergo her first chemotherapy on coming Wednesday.
